What’s this Art Project about?
It’s about people voicing what cannabis means to them.From the mother with a child no longer suffering intractable epileptic seizures from Dravet’s syndrome,
To the US veteran with PTSD, finding some piece and anease to his symptoms AND a path off prescription drugs.
The Plan
Phase I
Raise money, awareness and start the conversation by selling 100 really cool why i am cannabis t-shirts, from booster.com. Each t-shirt will be an originally designed, limited edition, why i am cannabis, high quality t-shirt.Along with t-shirt sales, community engagement, some guerrilla marketing and a lot of hard work – I hope to take this project to the next level by obtaining corporate sponsorship to create a self-sustaining online community and a home to archive every last video testimonial.
Phase II
Collect thousands of 20 second video selfies from folks all around the planet, edit them together and live stream them here – 24/7.
Duration: 18 months+ for initial setup, capture and video streaming. Then, self-sustaining as a 501c3 non-profit for years thereafter.
Goal: Tens of thousands of video selfies, looped, streaming on a live, evolving and ever growing crowdsourced online art platform.
