I GOT SKILLS 2017

The SkillsUSA SCTD Student Chapter has been established for many years. Every year, our student members compete at the Regional, State and National level. We are short on funds to send our Gold Winning students to Nationals. We are asking the community to support this amazing opportunity for our students. Not only will your donation help support our students, but you will also contribute to building a stronger and more skilled workforce. This year, we had 6 gold medalists that are eligible to compete at the SkillsUSA 2017 National Leadership and Skills Conference. The eligible competitors and their competitions are below:

1. Jennifer Pantoja & Brandie Farkas in 3D Animation & Visualization
2. Brandon LaDuke & Brandi Torres in Web Design
3. Gabriel Farley in Information Technology Services
4. Richard Bolanos in Computer Programming



This experience is filled with networking opportunities, chances for students to meet other outstanding competitors that are going to school for similar career fields and memorable events such as, Kentucky Kingdom and banquet dinners.

Last year, the entry fee per student competitor was around $325. Our goal is to sell at least 100 items to help reach the goal of sending each student to Nationals. Any support or donation that can be given is greatly appreciated.
