About this campaign
Stand with us as we work towards bringing attention and awareness to breast cancer andto the five types of gynecological cancers which are rarely talked about - Uterine, Cervical, Ovarian, Vulvar and Vagina.
In 2013 Co-Founder, Tiffany Braxton lost her Mother to an aggressive form of uterine cancer, the next year on April 10th 2014BlackWomenStandUp.com launched "Love Your Va-Jay-Jay Day" which is now an annualGynecological/Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative and Event.
Our goal is to spread awareness, as we bring attention to these cancers and help to remind women how important it is to stay on top of their health and to #CheckUpOnIt to remain cancer free, to evoke conversation between family members regarding being in the know of their families medical history, to pay homage towomen who are cancer survivors, and rememberthose who have lost their fight battling the disease, and toprovide lifesavingtips and information.
